John M. Scott, University and Chapel Organist

Roger Prentice) is the Chapel and University Organist, and Director of the Manning Memorial Chapel Choir. John plays for the Sunday evening services, most weekday 11:30 am services, and for all university services such as Matriculation, Baccalaureate service, Convocations, and Advent Carols and Lessons. As a faculty member in the School of Music, John teaches Principal and Secondary Applied Organ, Comprehensive Keyboard (MUSI 1813B1), and will be directing the University Orchestra second term. Winter term 2015 John directed the Acadia Vocal Ensemble.

Along with duties as University and Chapel organist, John is Director of Music at the Anglican Church of St. James in Kentville. John also directs the South Shore Chorale, a community choir based in Bridgewater, NS.
